1. Affix platform securely to a firm work surface, using either the screws provided or the clamp fitting (where supplied).
2. Slide can opener tube through aperture in platform
3. Position can on platform and, with handle in vertical position, punch blade through lid.
   Note: Badly damaged can rims should be straightened with pliers
4. Lower handle through 90 into turning position.
5. Open can by turning handle clockwise. Raise handle through 900 to release and remove can.
6. Blade - check for wear regularly, test cutting edge with fingernail for evidence of groove or nick.
7. Wheel - check gear teeth for wear - opener will tend to slip if gear is worn. Only use genuine BONZER replacement parts.
